Massage Treatments

Therapeutic treatment is used to treat both acute & chronic conditions. This treatment is beneficial for pain management, musculoskeletal & autoimmune conditions, migraine/tension headaches and soft tissue injuries.

The massage therapist will apply pressure within client’s tolerance to achieve desired benefits of treatment goals.

Therapeutic Treatment

Silicone cups are applied to skin within client’s tolerance and observed for tissue response. Cups are applied from seconds to minutes. Cups are applied in a few different methods; blanket cupping, dynamic and/or static cupping.

Cupping benefits include:

  • Increase range of motion

  • Decrease tight fascia & musculature

  • Decrease pain

  • Increase tissue pliability & Improves circulation

  • Myofascial Treatment

    Myofascial treatment approaches to release the fascia throughout the body. During myofascial treatment the therapist locates tight or stiff areas under firm pressure. A client may experience a burning sensation in the skin, or a gentle to deep stretch in the area being treated.

    Benefits include:

    ~Increase tissue pliability

    ~Increase fascial mobility in muscles

    ~Reduce fascial restrictions

    ~Reduce pain associated with soft tissues

  • Pregnancy Massage

    Pregnancy massage is safe and effective in all 3 trimesters. The fourth trimester too, known as the postpartum trimester.

    Prenatal treatment is performed in semi-fowler, supine, side-ly and prone positions. I will provide recommendation on which position is best for you in pregnancy. This is done so with pillows and bolsters to make you feel most comfortable during your treatment.

    This treatment can include massage to abdomen and breast. This would be discussed prior and consent of client to treat these areas of the body.

    Massage therapy is able to assist you during your perinatal journey.

  • Relaxation Treatment

    Relaxation treatment is tailored towards promoting peace and wellness. A gentle to firm pressure is applied to each area of the body being treated.

    Relaxation treatment calms the nervous system. This treatment can be beneficial for a client experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or stress in their life.

  • IASTM

    Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilzation (IASTM) is a skilled myofascial intervention used for soft tissue treatment.

    Instruments effectively break down fascial restrictions & scar tissue. The ergonomic design of these instruments provides the clinician the ability to locate restrictions and allows the clinician to treat the affected area with the appropriate amount of pressure.

    There is precautions and contraindications with this treatment.

  • Infant & Pediatric Massage

    Massage Therapy is beneficial for infants and children creating positive health benefits. This massage introduces a positive therapeutic touch & a positive impact on overall health.

    Recommend time is 30 minute massage treatments for Pediatric clients. Pediatric clients are ages 1-16.

    Recommended time for Infant massage is 90 minutes. This would be the Initial appointment. A follow up appointment would be 30 minutes. Infant age is 0-12 months.
